For future reference: streaking through a field of enormous, repulsive, scaley horned beasts? Not a good family bonding activity.
(D, do I need to explain? Yes. Yes, I probably need to explain. On impulse I tried animating an old Raiden drawing from way back in the way back but the hairline was coming out way more Loki than Raiden and… things kind of developed and… and really this doesn’t explain a damn thing)
Considering I was expecting the new baddie to be Amora the Enchantress, this is interesting news (though I can very easily see Amora in a Michelle Pfeiffer-as-Catwoman type position relative to Loki- who is apparently still an antagonist [sorry, Tom]- and whoever this guy will be playing).
So! Who do you think Mikkelsen’s being considered for? He doesn’t look like a Skurge to me, and I’ve gotten the impression that this won’t be as much of an Earth story, so I’m not expecting the Absorbing Man (though an Asgardian Absorbing Man might be a way more interesting force to reckon with, and after Avengers there’ll be plenty of time for Loki to do damage by proxy while imprisoned or house arrested or similar).
I just hope they don’t screw up and make him Set or something.
